Video: Blogger Shows How to Create Those Before and After Fitness Shots with the Help of Chips, Soda, Oil and a Tanning Bed

This is a brilliant example of deception that is often used to sell products in the health business. The oh-so popular before and after photographs often associated with specific diet products frighten me! The after photos always look like they took a perfectly handsome man, with a little hair on his body, and perhaps a few extra pounds, and they turn him into an orange, greasy, plucked chicken, uber -metrosexual guy with some crazy constipated look on his face. This blogger below gives a dynamic example. I’d would totally engage in sexual activity, if you will, with the before picture, but ignore the after.

Worth $60billion-a-year in America, the dieting industry is big business and many advertisements feature before and after shots to show you just how effective the product is.

How to: ‘Furious Pete’ explains to viewers that if sometimes those before and after shots seem impossible, then they probably are – but he is going to show us how.

‘The first step is to reverse the process. Go to the gym and do as many bicep curls, tricep push downs and chest presses,” he says. ‘Make sure you are as vascular as humanly possible.’

He then recommends going on a tanning bed so you can be as ‘tan as humanly possible. After that you should set up some good lighting and rub yourself in cooking oil.

Pete shows off the buff and slick after picture, which he admits he slightly Photoshopped.

Now for the before picture.

He says: ‘Take two hours off, you worked hard. Rest up and make sure the vascularity disappears. Grab a bag of chips and down all of them.”

‘Grab yourself a two litre bottle of pop and drink it all. Diet pop works even better because it has more carbonation and will make your stomach even bigger.’

He then recommends drinking chocolate milk, saying: ‘It will bloat the hell out of you.’

Then, the before shot is complete. Pete stands with his stomach hanging over his pants and the bulging biceps from just hours before have disappeared, proving that we ‘shouldn’t believe everything we see.’Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk

CHECK out this Mr Muscle — a man who keeps fit by doing housework.

Fitness-mad Stephen Markovich calls it Aerobic House Cleaning when he turns his chores into a calorie-burning workout.

The 57-year-old data analyst does squats while cleaning the windows, gets his calf muscles working by doing lunges as he hoovers the floor.

He vacuums the stairs on tip toes and even uses furniture as makeshift weights — lifting the sofa up and doing press-ups off his dining table.

Stephen, from Crescent Springs, Kentucky, US, said: “Millions is spent each year on gyms, health clubs, home equipment and silly diet pills.

“I wanted to show overweight people that there is a way they can stay in shape outside of these traditional routes.

“Everyone has to clean their house, so why not look at it as an opportunity to get some exercise?

“My family is used to seeing me doing my routine and it amuses them but they understand it is what I want to do to stay fit.

“It saves time and money and, as you can see, it certainly works.”

The married dad has now decided to cash in on the idea and has created an Aerobic House Cleaning manual he plans to sell as an e-Book.

Exercise as Housecleaning for the Body: Removal of Garbage From Inside Our Body’s Cells

When ticking off the benefits of physical activity, few of us would include intracellular housecleaning. But a new study suggests that the ability of exercise to speed the removal of garbage from inside our body’s cells may be one of its most valuable, if least visible, effects.

In the new research, which was published last month in Nature, scientists at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas gathered two groups of mice. One set was normal, with a finely tuned cellular scrubbing system. The other had been bred to have a blunted cleaning system.

Broken or misshapen proteins, shreds of cellular membranes, invasive viruses or bacteria, and worn-out, broken-down cellular components, like aged mitochondria, the tiny organelles within cells that produce energy, form a kind of trash heap inside the cell. #1 Medicine Ball Walk Outs

Put a medicine ball at your feet. Push your hips back without rounding your lower back. Place your hands on the med ball and slowly start walking your hands on top of the med ball driving it away from you. Walk your hands as far as you can without letting your hips sink, and then walk your hands backwards as you roll the ball back towards your feet.

#2 Treadmill Pike Ups

Turn off the treadmill and set your body in pushup position. Drive your hips upwards by pulling your feet toward your hands against the tension of the treadmill belt. Try to keep your torso and legs straight and only hinge upward at your hips. Then, return to the starting position by pushing your feet away from your hands. Continue reading
